I'm trying to lose weight before Air Force basic training. According to the weight of his letters, I'm 5 pounds higher then I should be. I'm 5'7'', 180 pounds and the size of 8 pants. I think I look very proportional and healthy, I'm not at all muscular, besides my stomach area, but I am convinced this weight must be muscular. Do not drink soda or eat junk food. I that the most unhealthy in my kitchen is the olive oil and Cinnamon Life cereal. I have been exercising every day for 3 weeks and have seen no change at all. I a 30-minute jog on a treadmill or a walk at 3 miles, 30 minutes on the elliptical, 15 minutes on a stationary bike, and 15-30 minutes doing various weight lifting push-ups and crunches. I just eat, and always, 1,500-2,000 calories a day, just in case. I think 3 weeks to lose 5 pounds is reasonable. What could be the problem? Am I correct in thinking that it might be muscle, even though I do not look built?
Well, most overweight people are typically when it comes to bone marrow transplantation. For the most part, as long as you show progress with the PT and pass the PT evals must be good. Anyway, still lose the kilos as you progress through the weeks of training (8.5 to be exact). I've seen big females come through and still pass when all was said and done. In some cases, some of these women are still considered "big" but not fat. It's just the way God created them, I guess.
