30 minutes of cardio a day. Not long enough?
I do 30 minutes of cardio a day on a stationary bike that gives me about 20-25 minutes on my goal heart rate. I feel like my heart and lungs can no longer go, but my legs can not. 30 minutes is long enough to promote weight loss and if not, what options do I have?
20 is the minimum, 30 is pretty good, especially if it is daily. If you watch the fat intake, keep calories control and do this every day I think you should lose weight. I've worked with weights, stretching and 30 minutes on a treadmill three times a week and lost 25 pounds. Also reduced the consumption of alcohol, sweets, fats and most of the meat. Sustained for about 10 years until it drops the mental-pause.
