How long until we see the results of working out?

I started running about a week in the gym and I know I will not have results super fast but I was wondering if anyone had an idea of when I went to see the change. I weigh 160 and I would fall at least 30 pounds. I run in the gym every day for 45 min. I watch what I eat, but I'm not starving and I'm going to include some weight lifting, etc soon. If I do this for at least a month I'll see some change? I know everyone is different and I'm not expecting to lose 30 pounds in a month, but it would be gratifying and encouraging to see some weight loss. If there is anything else I should be doing to make things easier, please let me know … thanks!
