she prescribed me 10 mg to take every day, what are the pros and cons of this medication? I have TERRIBLE anxiety, does it help? Also, what’s the deal with the weight gain/loss? Anyone lose weight from taking celexa?
I’ve been taking celexa for almost ten years now. When I first starting taking it, it was known as the new antidepressant on the market. I had really bad depression, and it has since fixed that. It should help with you anxiety. When you first start taking it, you may get a feel like “what am I doing here?”. Its a really weird side effect which lasts about a month and a half. Weight has stayed the same. It was one of the first antidepressants to not have any effect on one weights. They normally make people gain weight – which would probably have made my depression worse.
