How am I supposed to eat healthy when the only food my friends eat is garbage?
Im trying to eat healthy but I have a social life which means spending lots of time with my friends. Teenagers eat lots of sh*t, and it is impossibly for me to stick to a healthy diet when Im with my friends and we’re going out to places with no healthy food options. and they tempt me so much because they get all these shakes and donuts and chips and chocolate…oh and they dont know i want to eat healthy, so its not their fault its not like they are being unsupportive or anything. SO what to do??!! I just decided I want to eat healthier but its impossible hanging out with teenagers

If they eat a donut order a plain one and save half for later. If you get shakes see if you can buy one with yogurt in it. They have healthy chips, there are some brands that bake the chips or reduce the sodium so they are healthier for you. You can bring food from home or snack before you go out with them. Reducing portion size can help. And if you want chocolate get the dark chocolate instead – it’s is healthier for you.

I’m a 14 year old girl (weigh about 91 lbs). I seem to be unhealthy and my hair is falling out. My hair looks really unhealthy. My mom wants to put me on this diet with a ton of protein where I eat like a LOT more than I normally eat. How am I saposed to eat more than my stomach can hold??? I’m 13, and I weigh 87 pounds. I was DIAGNOSED with anorexia before I started getting put on a special diet. My parents hired a nutritionist, and SHE made a meal plan for me. Like you, it’s a lot more than I used to eat. I have to have 3 servings of bread in the morning, 3 servings of meat, 3 lipids, 2 milks, and 1 fruit. All in one meal. I used to have 1/2 cup of fat free cereal. You think I am freaking out? Not anymore. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and you should want to eat it. I don’t like to eat lunch, but I still have to eat a lot. I fight it sometimes, but I know I’m anorexic, and I need this nutrition. Unlike you, my hair never started looking bad, but I did get weak, lose 20+ pounds, stop having my period, and a bunch of other stuff having to do with strength. Sorry that your parents love you enough to try to get some muscle on you.

Find a diet that when you’re on it it’s as if you aren’t even on a diet. You will then stick to it long term and it would almost be impossible not to lose weight.
Step 3. Start Exercising: If you can incorporate exercise into your weight loss program your results will come MUCH faster and you can make more mistakes with your diet.
If you hate exercising just for the sake of exercising like most people find a physical activity you like doing. If you can find an activity that you like doing and you do it a lot you have almost no choice but to lose weight and get in shape.
If you follow these three tips then sticking to your weight loss goals will be much easier. As simple as they are most people will never implement them. As a matter of fact most people reading them have already made excuses why they can’t do some of the rules.
Make sure you pick an eating plan that you will actually stick to. If you can’t afford a nutritionist to perfectly plan out your meal plans then it might come down to a lot of trial and error.
