If I eat about 750 calories a day and work off 500 calories a day what kind of weight loss should I expect?
I have the lap band so its hard to eat big portions which makes it easy to get by on 750 calories a day. I also power walk/jog for a hour a day which burns 500 calories a day. If the average person eats 2000 calories a day and I am consuming less than half and burning almost all of what I take in how much weight loss would you think is achievable in a month?
BTW I am currently 205 and 5’8 so I am hoping to lose 75 pounds to get to a comfortable 130 pounds.
Its easy to work out.
Say you need 2000 calories a day. You eat 750 so that’s 1250 you lose a day. Add to that the 500 from the exercise is 1750 calories burned a day or 12250 a week.
There are 3500 calories in 1lb of fat so 12250 / 3500 = you will lose 3.5lb of fat a week.
Or 14lb a month.
